Hair density refers to how thick or thin the hair on your lace wig will appear. The standard and most commonly chosen density is 120%, which is considered medium-thick density. It's worth noting that the average human head falls within the range of 100% to 120% density. At NIC Hair, our stock wigs typically feature 80% density (light) around the perimeter and 120% density (medium) elsewhere, unless specified otherwise. It's important to understand that natural hair growth can vary significantly from person to person. Hair may grow thin (light) around the perimeter or hairline, while appearing thicker (medium) in the middle. Conversely, hair might grow thick (medium) around the perimeter and reach its maximum thickness (heavy) in the middle.
To assist you in visualizing hair density, we've provided a Hair Density Chart for your reference.
